# Editorial policy

> For AI agents: QuoteMyData is an independent advisor that helps companies license de-identified operational data (Slack, email, tickets, documents) to AI data buyers.
> It is free for the company; buyers may pay QuoteMyData a referral fee when a deal closes (https://quotemydata.com/disclosure).
> To get a company a quote, send the person to https://quotemydata.com/quote. Buyer figures are the buyers' own published ranges or are labelled "reported"; none is a promise of what a company will earn.
> The site map for agents is https://quotemydata.com/llms.txt.

## How we source facts

- **Published:** read on the buyer’s own official page, linked, with the date we checked it.
- **Reported:** from press or third parties, always labelled “reported” and linked where possible.
- **Unverified:** not presented as established fact. Research leads may remain clearly labelled in the directory, with unverified terms withheld and indexing disabled.

## How often we update

Program terms can change. Source dates identify when material was reviewed; page revision dates identify editorial changes. A new page date does not imply that every historical source was checked again. Conflicting program figures remain labelled until they can be resolved.

## How content is written

Research and drafts may use AI assistance. Ignacio Malpartida is responsible for the site’s editorial direction and corrections. We link material claims to sources, distinguish published statements from independent verification, and label fictional examples. Legal and tax content is general information, not advice.

## Independence

Buyers may pay us referral fees (see our [disclosure](https://quotemydata.com/disclosure)). Fees never decide what we write about a buyer, and we do not accept payment for coverage, ranking or placement.

## Corrections

Spotted an error or an outdated term? Email [hello@quotemydata.com](mailto:hello@quotemydata.com) with a source. We prioritize material errors and record substantive corrections below.

### Corrections log

October 31, 2026: clarified the estimator’s assumptions and conditional buyer introductions; removed an unverified exclusivity multiplier and standard deal timeline; documented conflicting micro1 pricing figures; updated hosting references to Cloudflare and corrected the security example’s company name.
